LCMM Offers "Pay What You Can" Summer Programs

1/25/2021

With these frigid days upon us, summer (and post-covid times) may seem far away, but it's not too early to start thinking about summer programming for your family.  This year, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum will be offering "pay what you can programs" so there's something for everyone!
Picture
2021 camps at Lake Champlain Maritime Museum are Pay-What-You-Can! Day camps and overnight expeditions at the Museum offer kids of all ages a one-of-a-kind experience on Lake Champlain. These outdoor summer programs build problem-solving and teamworking skills, give kids the chance to learn with each other, and let all participants enjoy the lake. No matter what you pay, kids can sign up for day camps about metal arts, archaeology, and kayak building or a teen expedition on Lake Champlain by kayak, pilot gig, or sail. Check out the full line-up of the museum 2021 Camps and Expeditions at www.lcmm.org/camps and register today! Registration is open until filled.

Immediate opening for full-time salaried Family Support Coordinator (FSC) in support of Addison County Community Trust's (ACCT's) mission of providing affordable housing.  The FSC works under the joint supervision of the Executive Director and Director of Property Management, in partnership with members of the Property Management team to connect residents—especially families at risk of eviction—with the supports and wraparound services they need to be successful in their homes.  The FSC will work closely with other community organizations to identify supports, make referrals, and facilitate resident participation in community resources.  Additionally, the FSC will sponsor general programming for residents in response to identified needs.  The FSC will take a proactive approach to engaging with families, using empathy, tact, and professionalism to build trusting relationships that result in participant access to long-term successful housing.
