Shoreham, VT

house, front

Green Woods Village in Shoreham is a new housing development with a number of homes eligible to receive Homeland grants for qualified buyers. Staying true to the character of Shoreham, these homes blend in with the historic property next door, refurbished by Jeremiah Parker Restorations. The homes have the highest government Energy Star rating of 5+ stars, and come with energy efficient appliances.

Home prices start at $156,691 for a 600sf one story cottage, and there are eight different models available at various costs and sizes. For a 780sf one story cape costing $183,105, ACCT would be able to provide a $36,621 Homeland grant. For a buyer earning less than 80% of the median income for Addison County, a $10,000 American Dream grant might also be available, as well as an equity builder grant of up to $15,000 through certain lenders. The buyer would then only have to finance $121,484 to own this home.
