Mobile Home parks provide the most affordable form of homeownership, and when implemented correctly can complement green building and smart growth initiatives. ACCT currently owns and operates 350 home sites in 9 mobile home parks in Addison County; each mobile home is owner-occupied, and ACCT is committed to keeping lot rental fees affordable. The Trust is dedicated to managing the parks in a manner in accordance with green and smart growth principles. For instance, the Trust acquired property across the street from Vaughn's park in Monkton in order to have more space to build a state-of-the-art septic system, thus serving its residents safely and conveniently while preserving green space. The Trust is dedicated to maintaining and rehabilitating old parks as well as designing and contructing new parks to house the residents of Addison County as affordably as possible.
